During ISE (Integrated Systems Europe – 2020, the largest audio-visual exhibition in the world) Leyard unveiled its latest micro-LED technology that soon will be mass produced.
Micro LED + 8K + 0.6″ opens a new era of Micro LED
Micro LED products, which represent the future of display technology, naturally occupy the Center of the Leyard exhibition area. This time, the 8K Micro LED Video Wall with 0.6mm fine pitch displayed again by Leyard is the micro LED display with the largest mass production area and the smallest pixel pitch in the market at present.
This 8K Micro LED display has excellent image quality, especially in brightness, resolution, color gamut, response speed and service life. Because there is no backlight, organic film and other structures, this product is much thinner in appearance, with a near-bezel-free view on the front, 99.99% of the screen-to-body ratio and more amazing visual effect, bringing consumers immersive experience.
As the first enterprise to invest in Micro LED technology innovation and R&D, Leyard has made continuous breakthroughs in micro LED technology R&D in recent years with its many years of technology precipitation in small spacing display products.
At the end of last year, Leyard and EPISTAR jointly built a mass production base of Mini led/Micro LED in Wuxi, China. When completed, the base will be the first base in the world to realize the mass production of minimum Micro LED display products with massive transfer technology. Leyard will work with EPISTAR to promote the development of the entire industrial chain of Mini LED and Micro LED display technology in the field of design, research and development, production and application, thus greatly promoting the layout and development of the Micro LED market.
New upgrade of small-pitch LED solutions
As a global leader in audiovisual technology, Leyard’s display products are used throughout the world. To enable users to deploy seamless LED video walls in a broader environment, Leyard introduced ERO-LED (extended durability and optics) technology.
ERO-LED technology protects small-pitch LED displays from dust, electrostatic discharge, humidity, human contact, and impact from the front and edges, and enhance the visual performance by significantly increasing the contrast in ambient light. At different levels of ambient light, the contrast of the ERO-LED is tripled compared with the LED video wall without this protective coating.
In addition to displaying ERO-LED technology, Leyard also displayed other award-winning small-pitch LED innovations, including the new generation of DirectLight X LED video wall system and TVF series of LED video walls.
As an internationally renowned display exhibition, ISE is an event that gathers the most first-class display representatives, and often represents the forefront of display application technology. In the ISE exhibition of this year, the leading Chinese display enterprises represented by Leyard have displayed new display products, which enables the world to witness the innovation spirit of China’s display enterprises once again.
Year 2020 is a new start. 5G technology will be officially put into commercial use, micro LED technology will be more mature, and 8K display products will begin to enter the consumer end. Standing at a new historical node, Leyard will continue to work hard in its main display business, lead the development of the industry with forward-looking technology and promote the in-depth development of intelligent display industry, so as to make the “China Screen” shine on the world stage.

IoT Amps are the next step forward in pro audio systems. It just makes sense. To begin with, pro audio systems are made up of interconnected devices work together to provide sound support. And IoT provides a next-level platform for interconnected devices. It seems so obvious!
But what are the real benefits that IoT provides to a pro audio amplifier? Well, here are five of the top benefits you will notice immediately:
1. Remote Monitoring & Control
First, you can check-in on your installed systems and make adjustments from anywhere without the need for a VPN. In short, IoT amps are constantly feeding performance data to the Cloud and it’s all just sitting up there for you to look at from the comfort of your couch. Plus, no matter where you are, you can feed information to the cloud as well. Therefore, you can make changes to the amplifier settings or DSP without ever actually going to the venue. PLUS, this provides the opportunity for installers to set up reoccurring revenue contracts with their clients for ongoing system maintenance.
The video blow demonstrates 3 ways to connect the amps (including wi-fi):
2. Automatic Updates
Secondly, it’s important for your installed systems to remain up-to-date in order to maintain optimum performance. Now, thanks to IoT technology, manufacturers can deliver amplifier updates to the cloud and you can keep your systems updated at all times, without even thinking about it. For example, just like your phone tells you when there are new updates available.
3. Speaker Tunings & System Presets
Need speaker tunings or system EQ settings? No problem! Installers can save all speaker tunings and system settings and store them in the cloud where they can access them whenever they want. Furthermore, manufacturers are also able to send these types of downloads into the cloud and make them available to the installer. As a result, there is no need to visit a separate website and download files. Everything is available in one place and easily accessible from anywhere.
The video below demonstrates how to import and export settings to the amplifier:
4. Push Notifications
Fourth, if any errors or faults occur, hear from the system first – not from the client or venue. For instance, push notifications can be sent directly to your mobile or desktop devices whenever the system detects an error or fault. Thus, you’ll be able to proactively pinpoint where the event has occurred and begin taking steps to resolve it, most likely before anyone at the venue even notices. Therefore, this can cut back on system downtime dramatically.
5. System Performance Data
Access all of the system data at anytime from anywhere. You’ll be able to maintain reports on error logs, fault logs, energy consumption, output performance, and more.

Released March, 2019, Elation’s Artiste Monet, part of the Artiste series is a 45,000 lumen LED profile light capable of projecting some of the most gorgeous colors ever produced by an automated LED luminaire.
The Monet has a very unique color mixing system (SpectraColor) that allows it to stand out against its rivals; SpectraColor system offers traditional CMY mixing but adds a variable RGB color mix for rich saturated primaries. In combination with the variable CTO the Monet allows for colors that were previously impossible to achieve, from theatrical pastels to the most vibrant red or blues ever produced by a color mixing system.
The wide color gamut is achieved by seven color-mixing flags with 16-bit precision. A six-position fixed color wheel with UV and high CRI options round out the Monet’s color range.
“With its massive output, absolutely stunning colour spectrum and precise optics, the Artiste Monet is the brightest and most feature packed framing LED fixture produced to date,” stated Elation product manager Matthias Hinrichs. “With an amazing quality of light and sheer power from the custom 950W LED engine, we managed to support the designer’s need for high lumens, rich colors and precision out of one fixture with no compromises.
The Monet with its 45,000 lumens has enough power to cut through at even great distances in arena touring environments or large TV or theatre stages. A precise zoom can adjust the beam quickly and evenly from a tight 6.5° to a wide 55° for use in a variety of situations which makes it perfect for either fixed or rental applications.
With Monet, designers have access to a comprehensive package of options that enables it to proudly live up to its artistic namesake. A new creative horizon is achieved with seven rotating and seven fixed glass gobos for aerial and projected effects, a set of gobos that should be well received by all types of lighting designers.
Also unique to the Artiste Monet is its full blackout, four-blade 360° full framing system for full control of the beam shape and quite operation at less than 40db. 2 years standard warranty extendable up to 5 years.
The Monet is available at Venuetech LLC. Elation Professional exclusive distributor in the Middle East.
